
The Monaca Police Department is investigating a burglary at a local Dollar General store on Nov. 26. According to information released by the department, the incident took place around 1:45 a.m., and the officers who arrived on the scene discovered that the front glass doors of the establishment had been smashed.
Further details provided by WTAE include the outcome of the initial inquiry, where police determined that two glass door panes were broken and confirmed the business had suffered a burglary. Meanwhile, surveillance video retrieved from inside the Dollar General revealed the suspect making off with multiple cartons of cigarettes during the smash-and-grab.
