The Montgomery County Police Department's Alcohol Holiday Task Force has been busy this festive season, with a significant number of DUI arrests made during the final days of November. According to a recent press release from the Montgomery County Government, law enforcement officials arrested a total of 43 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs over four days.
Between November 27 and November 30, the task force, which dedicates its efforts exclusively to curbing alcohol-related offenses during the holidays, targeted DUI violations. This specialized team of officers was able to apprehend dozens of drivers under suspicion, as noted by the Montgomery County Department of Police.
The listed arrests reflect only those made by task force officers, excluding additional DUI arrests by patrol officers. Thus, the total number of DUI arrests during this period is higher, as per the Montgomery County Department of Police.
