
A recent report from the Modesto Police Department has shed light on a tragic collision that took place at the intersection of Sisk Road and Brenner Way. According to the Modesto Police Department Facebook post, at approximately 11:34 a.m. on Thursday, officers responded to an incident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.
The initial investigation has revealed that while traveling northbound on Sisk Road, the motorcycle—a 2005 Kawasaki ZX-11—collided with a 2000 Toyota Sienna van attempting a southbound turn onto Sisk Road from westbound Brenner Way. The motorcyclist, having been transported to a local hospital following the collision, ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the van, present at the scene, is cooperating as the investigation continues, both individuals being residents of Modesto, as reported by the Modesto Police Department.
In the aftermath of the incident, authorities are now calling upon the public for assistance.
