Authorities in D.C. are actively seeking a suspect involved in a recent shooting that unfolded in Southeast. According to information released by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the incident occurred on the 2400 block of 15th Place Southeast, where officers were called to the scene at about 10:19 am on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
When police arrived, they found an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, whose identity has not yet been publicly disclosed, was conscious and breathing at the time officers discovered him. He was quickly transported to a local hospital to receive urgently needed medical care, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Department. Officials have yet to update the public on his current condition.
The MPD is urging anyone with information regarding the shooting to come forward. They are asking community members to help identify and locate the individual responsible for this act of violence, to swiftly bring them to justice.
