Early Thursday morning, a stabbing incident in Needles, California led to the arrest of 44-year-old Carolyn Jackson on charges related to murder and attempted murder. At approximately 4:57 A.M., the Needles Sheriff’s Station deputies were dispatched to a report of a stabbing at a home on the 200 block of Walnut Street, where they found two individuals with stab wounds.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department, Bryan Jackson, a 48-year-old resident of the same address, was pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving attempts by emergency medical responders. The second victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile whose identity has been withheld, was transported to the hospital, where, he remains under medical care.
Homicide detectives took over the investigation and identified the wife of the deceased, Carolyn Jackson, as the suspect in this case. She was located nearby and subsequently arrested. Carolyn Jackson is being held without bail at the High Desert Detention Center while she awaits further proceedings. An autopsy is scheduled to ascertain the precise cause of Bryan Jackson's death.
