The NYPD is currently seeking information about an individual wanted for an act of criminal mischief that occurred early last month in Brooklyn, by the 66th Precinct. According to a social media post from NYPD Crimestoppers, on November 5, an unidentified person made anti-Semitic statements in front of Tomer Devorah Elementary School at 4502 9th Avenue. Following their outburst, they proceeded to kick and break the glass window of a school bus owned by the institution.
The NYPD has made an appeal for assistance from the public, offering a reward for up to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect. Those with valuable information are encouraged to contact the authorities at 800-577-TIPS, or submit tips anonymously through the official website. The school was not in session during the time of the incident, mitigating the potential harm to children and staff.
The NYPD has not yet released descriptions or any surveillance footage of the suspect. Anyone with information is urged to reach out to the NYPD’s Crimestoppers hotline or website, to aid in the swift apprehension of those responsible.
