In a new development in the case of Suzanne Simpson's disappearance, sources say her DNA was found on a reciprocating saw. This is the same saw her husband, Brad Simpson, is accused of trying to hide from authorities, as mentioned by KSAT reports.
Brad was indicted earlier this week on charges of murder after his wife, Suzanne, went missing on October 6 following a social gathering at The Argyle in their Olmos Park neighborhood. Authorities allege that two days before his arrest on October 9, Brad was seen driving with a bulky item covered by a tarp, which they believe was evidence he tried to conceal. In response to her mother’s disappearance, Suzanne’s daughter Chandler Simpson shared a tribute on Instagram, writing, "My sibling and I are my mother’s voice, soul and body. As my mom devoted her life to loving us, making us a home, and helping others find theirs. Now without her, we are broken and beginning to build our new home. Let my moms (sic) name not be remembered in mutilation but in light, salvation and Christ," as reported by KENS 5.
Brad Simpson is facing serious charges, including murder and tampering with evidence, in the 437th Criminal District Court under Judge Joel Perez. If convicted, he could face decades in prison or life. His trial date is still pending, though he is scheduled for a court appearance on December 9. Suzanne Simpson’s friends are devastated by her death. Camille Mandigo, a close friend, shared her grief, saying, “Suzanne was such a kind person, a lovely human being, a great friend, a wonderful and loving mother - we are all are devastated đź’” I’ll never recover from her death - no one who loved her ever will. There will never be “closure” - just a new way of trying to figure out how to live with the grief that our beautiful Suzanne was murdered by someone whom she loved and trusted. I will spend the rest of my life - wondering what I missed and how I could have been a better friend to her. Suzanne’s carefree and happy way of living life will be an inspiration to all of us as we try to move forward,” according to KENS 5 and KSAT.
