
Tragedy struck Elgin in the early hours of Tuesday when a vehicle fire resulted in one fatality. According to details provided by CBS Austin, the Austin-Travis County EMS responded to a harrowing scene at 17904 Littig Road shortly after midnight. Despite the responders' efforts, the adult victim was pronounced dead at the location.
In the collision that caught the vehicle in a deadly blaze, no other injuries were reported. Diverging from the peaceful night, the flames illuminated the severity of the incident which has etched a silhouette of mourning over the community of Elgin.
