Tragedy struck the city of Painesville over the holiday period as police began their investigation into an apparent murder-suicide that claimed the lives of a local couple. WKYC reported that Painesville Police officers were called to a residence in the Heisley Park development on Thursday evening for a welfare check.
Having received no response at the door of the "secured residence," officers were able to gain entry, where they found two deceased individuals.
