The Petaluma Police Department is currently requesting the help of the community in identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for a violent assault outside of the New Yorker bar. The incident, which took place on Sunday, left one person unconscious and seriously injured. Authorities responded to the scene after receiving multiple calls concerning a fight at 3 Petaluma Blvd N.
Despite the initial lack of leads following the assault, the case saw a break when witnesses provided video footage to police authorities the next day. The Petaluma Police Department, as detailed in a Nixle alert, is calling on anyone with information about the identity of the suspect—who was last seen fleeing on foot—to come forward.
Those who may know the individual in the video or have witnessed the assault are urged to contact Officer Tobon at the Petaluma Police Department. The department has made available a phone number, 707-778-4372, and an email, [email protected], for tips from the public.
