Philadelphia Police Make Arrests in Three Unsolved Homicides Across 22nd, 24th, and 25th Districts

Philadelphia police have reported progress in three unconnected homicide cases with arrests made in the 22nd, 24th, and 25th districts. The individuals apprehended are facing murder and related charges, drawing a close to intensive investigations spanning months and, in one case, years.

The first incident took place on June 10, where Joel Colon-Cruz, a 27-year-old male, was fatally shot inside Kitchen Express Chinese Restaurant. Officers responded to the site on the 7xx block of E. Ontario Street and pronounced Colon-Cruz dead due to multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso. According to the PPD blotter, suspect Talil Parker was later charged in relation to the murder. The 27-year-old is held at CFCF for prior parole violations.

In a separate case from June 16, 2021, Tianna Wells was discovered deceased by her family and the responding officers from the 22nd District at her residence on N. 17th St. Suffering from a lethal neck wound, Wells' case went cold for over three years until yesterday when Quader Moore, implicated in her death, was apprehended on the 59xx block of N. 5th Street.

The third case resolved involved the death of Nicholas Delgado, who was located unresponsive with a GSW to the right leg on June 3, on the 3000 block of Water Street. Despite swift transport to Temple University Hospital, Delgado succumbed to his injuries. After identifying Ramon Rodriguez as a suspect, law enforcement apprehended him following a rooftop chase on N. Phillip Street, as mentioned on the police department's official website.
