
The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting assistance from the community in identifying a man involved in a recent package theft in the 9th District, as captured on video surveillance footage. The incident, which occurred on December 8 at approximately 2:59PM, involved an unknown individual who removed a package from outside a residence on the 20XX block of Spruce Street, according to the Central Detective Division.
The suspect is described as a black male, sporting dark attire and distinctive grey sneakers, details released in a public announcement by the Philadelphia Police Department, which also includes video evidence from the scene. Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the man or has information related to the crime to come forward while the police urge citizens not to approach the suspect and instead to contact 911 directly should they encounter him.
