The Philadelphia Police Department has issued an appeal to the public to aid in the search for Carmen Delia Acevedo, who has been reported missing and is considered endangered. According to a statement released by the Philadelphia Police Department, Acevedo was last seen around 3:30 pm on the 9xx block of E Tioga St. last Wednesday.
Acevedo, 60, is not only missing but she also uses a wheelchair, heightening concerns for her safety. The authorities have yet to release additional details regarding her disappearance but are keen to quickly gather information that could lead to her location. To broadly circulate her description, the Philadelphia Police have requested that anyone with knowledge about Acevedo’s whereabouts is to immediately contact the East Detectives Division.
The police liaison has asked that tips or sightings be directed to East Detectives at 215-686-3243.
