
The Philadelphia Police Department is urgently seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run incident that tragically took a pedestrian's life. The accident occurred in the early morning hours of November 1st, on the 4800 block of Levick Street.
In their efforts to locate the individual responsible, authorities are now circulating an image of a black Nissan Murano, believed to be a 2008 model and bearing a temporary Virginia state paper tag. The man behind the wheel is described to be a black male with facial hair, specifically a beard and mustache. The vehicle was last spotted heading south on Torresdale Ave. from Levick Street, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
The department has issued a caution to the public, urging that if anyone happens to sight this suspect, they should not approach, but rather contact 911 immediately. For anyone with information that could assist in resolving this case, Philadelphia Police have provided several avenues to submit tips, ensuring anonymity for those who require it.
