The Philadelphia Police Department has urgently called upon the community to assist in finding a young boy who has been reported missing since yesterday. 13-year-old Kazeem Smith was last seen around 5:00PM on the 29xx block of W. Gordon St. in Philadelphia, according to a bulletin released by the police department. Concerns are particularly heightened as Kazeem is considered an endangered juvenile, which adds to the imperative nature of the search.
Officials are suggesting that Kazeem could still be nearby, potentially around the 22nd & Lehigh area close to the Save A Lot plaza. The boy is described as being 5’3 and 140 lbs., with a medium build, black hair, brown eyes, and a dark skin tone. At the time of his disappearance, he was last seen wearing black pajama pants decorated with the Grinch face, a black coat, and black & white Puma shoes. The details of his appearance and last known location are critically central to help the public identify him and hopefully bring him safely back home.
Authorities have issued a call to action for anyone with information related to Kazeem's whereabouts, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. The Philadelphia Police Department's official statement requests that individuals who have seen Kazeem or have any information that could assist in the case to contact the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093 or to call 911 immediately.
