Despite the brisk morning air, the Plano Police Department's Distribution Day kicked off around 9:00 a.m., drawing to a close as the last family collected their items around 11:15 a.m. The day wasn't just about the distribution of goods; it featured festive flourishes with local mascots and holiday icons infusing joy into the proceedings. "In addition to our elves with badges in blue uniforms and volunteer helpers, we had some special guests including Mr. and Mrs. Claus, the D-Town Crew, ManiAACs, and mascot Champ from the Dallas Mavericks," the Plano Texas Police Department's post read.
