The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office recently conducted a search at the residence of Jairo Delgado, an alleged Sureno gang member, in South Sacramento. According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office on their Facebook post, the operation was carried out by the Sheriff's Gang Suppression Unit detectives, with support from the Sheriff's SWAT Team and the Rancho Cordova Police Department Crime Suppression Unit. The search was part of an ongoing investigation.
Detectives recently discovered a stolen handgun, over 150 grams of cocaine, and more than 500 grams of fentanyl during a search. The amount of fentanyl is said to be potentially lethal to "approximately half of Sacramento." They also found over $7,000 in cash. Delgado, currently held at the Sacramento County Main Jail, faces a $500,000 bail and has a court appearance scheduled for December 13, as stated by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
