Jim-Denny’s diner, a fixture in downtown Sacramento, faced its fifth break-in this year in the early hours yesterday. According to KCRA, the Sacramento Police Department responded to an alarm from the iconic eatery situated at 12th Street around 2:45 a.m.
Upon their arrival, patrolling officers found evidence of a burglary and arrested Mark Troyer, a 31-year-old Sacramento resident. Despite the alarm call, restaurant owner N’Gina Guyton said nothing was stolen but told KCRA that the intruder caused significant damage to the property.
In a statement obtained by abc10, the Sacramento Police Department confirmed that Troyer was taken into custody and faces charges related to the break-in.
