According to their latest news release, the event is set to feature fee-waived adoptions, running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the municipal shelter located at 4710 State Highway 151. Complimentary shuttle parking will be available from the Pre-K 4 SA campus at 1235 Enrique M. Barrera Pkwy.
The event promises to be a treasure trove of festive fun for families and their potential new pets. Attendees will have a chance to quickly round up their holiday shopping at the Paw’p Up holiday market, complete with free gift-wrapping services. For those willing to arrive early, SAACS is offering a $25 VIP Early Access option which includes special pre-event entry and a chance to snap photos with Santa. Adventure seekers and animal lovers alike will be treated to San Antonio’s first "snowfall" of the year, as reported by SAACS, amidst a landscape of live entertainment, seemingly endless ornament decorating, and various games to partake in.
All pets up for adoption come with a clean bill of health, as SAACS ensures each animal is sterilized, microchipped with lifetime registration, and vaccinated with their first round of shots. While the adoption fees are waived for this special event, all standard SAACS adoption policies and processes will remain in effect.
