This includes at least one instance where the man is accused of indecent exposure. The suspect, identified as Angel Joseph Davis, has been linked to an event on Tuesday night, where he allegedly peered into a resident's window while exposing himself near 20th Street and Mellonville Avenue, according to ClickOrlando.
A strategy involving surveillance footage played a critical role — where citizens with cameras quickly forwarded evidence, allowing law enforcement to apprehend Davis. Bianca Gillett of Sanford Police highlighted the proactive measures taken, reinforcing the effectiveness of community and police engagement in such investigations. Davis was apprehended yesterday and is currently detained on a charge of indecent exposure of sexual organs. While the arrest is significant, additional investigations are probing the possibility of similar incidents linked to Davis, which could lead to further charges. "Last night we did confirm two reports of what would be considered a Peeping Tom, prowler activity that we took, offense reports that are actively being worked on by our investigations," Gillett informed the public through ClickOrlando.
