Luz Martinez Cifuentes, along with her 1-year-old daughter Maydeline Catalan Martinez, was last seen on Thursday at approximately 2:50 p.m. on the 16900 block of East Avenue O, according to a bulletin from the Sheriff’s Department obtained by KTLA.
Authorities' concern surrounds their well-being, with no further details provided regarding the circumstances of their disappearance. Luz is described as a Latina, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 115 pounds, with straight brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a green sweatshirt, tan jacket, and black pants when she was last seen. Accompanied by her daughter, who has a distinctive scar on her right pinky finger, Luz is believed to possibly be headed toward Los Angeles. According to the official Instagram post by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Maydeline is 2 feet 6 inches tall, weighs around 22 pounds, and has straight brown hair and brown eyes.
