Saint Paul Parks and Recreation has officially opened its 2025 park permit lottery, according to a recent announcement on its Facebook page. This system, designed to address the high demand for popular park dates and locations, ensures a fair and equitable distribution of permits.
Residents and businesses can enter the lottery at stpaul.gov/parkpermits or by calling 651-266-6400. Entries will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on December 18, 2024. Permits for successful lottery participants will be issued starting January 2, 2025.
The lottery system levels the playing field, giving every entrant an equal chance to secure a prime park spot—whether for a family picnic or a corporate gathering. By replacing the usual rush with a luck-based draw, Saint Paul aims to make reserving park spaces less stressful.
