In light of recent technical difficulties, the City of Shoreline announced an intermittent availability schedule for its eTRAKiT online permitting system. The city informed residents and businesses that as they address the issue, the system's accessibility will be sporadically impacted during the holiday season.
According to the schedule provided, users will find eTRAKiT online from 6:00am to 5:30pm on December 24. The system will then be unavailable all day on Christmas, resuming its limited hours from 6:00am to 5:30pm on December 26 and 27. However, on the December 28 and 29, the tool will not be accessible at all. The city will return to its normal operations starting from 6:00am on December 30 until 5:30pm on December 31.
Those requiring permitting services are likely to experience disruptions during this period. Shoreline's Permit Services has offered a contact number, 206-801-2500, and an email address, [email protected], for any questions or assistance during business hours. This limitation in online services is expected to persist, with the system being unavailable on New Year’s Day, followed by a restoration to normal operations from 6:00am on January 2, and continuous 24-hour operations beginning on January 3, a =s noted by the City of Shoreline.
