A tragic incident unfolded early this morning when a man from Spring Hill died after his vehicle struck several trees in Pasco County. WFLA reports that the 39-year-old was driving a Ford Explorer on Banbury Avenue when he veered off the roadway.
The Florida Highway Patrol stated that he was heading east when he failed to adequately negotiate a turn and entered the shoulder, colliding with multiple trees. The crash occurred around 6:33 a.m., just west of Gatun Street. Despite immediate transportation to the hospital, the man ultimately died from his injuries.
Further details provided by FOX13 News confirmed that the vehicle left the road in New Port Richey after the driver did not successfully navigate a curve on the avenue. The man's identity has been withheld until the family can be properly notified of the tragic loss.
