A man was the victim of a carjacking in Gravois Park. District 3 is currently investigating the incident that occurred yesterday evening. The victim, a 23-year-old man, was reportedly going back to his 2014 Honda Insight when he discovered that his vehicle was being occupied by two unknown individuals. This took place in the 3700 block of Pennsylvania after the victim had finished delivering food.
According to a report released by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, there were also two additional males seen standing outside of his vehicle. The victim claims that as he attempted to chase down his car, these two individuals pursued him down to the 3700 block of Nebraska. Upon catching up to him, it was reported that they displayed a firearm, forcibly took his phone, and destroyed it.
The department stated that the 23-year-old man was not harmed during the incident, but the assailants managed to flee in his vehicle. As per the latest update, the search is ongoing for the suspects and the stolen car.
