On the quiet streets of Fairfield, a Flock surveillance system proved its worth on Wednesday when it alerted police to a stolen vehicle at East Tabor Avenue and Grande Circle at approximately 7:15 pm. The swift action of the Fairfield Police Department resulted in the arrest of a suspect, later identified as Ramona Sandival.
According to an update shared on the Fairfield Police Department's social media, Officer Swoyer was quickly on the scene, locating the stolen vehicle in front of a residence on Grande Circle. The post detailed that Sandival was caught exiting the vehicle with keys in hand, which linked her to the crime.
The Fairfield authorities said that Sandival was arrested and charged with theft because of a momentary lapse that led to her being booked into the county jail.
