
A man suspected in a California carjacking has been arrested in Buckeye, Arizona, according to local authorities. The Buckeye Police Department, on Thursday last week, engaged a high-risk traffic stop near Miller Road and Pima Street after a truck, reported stolen and linked to a carjacking incident in California, was spotted in the area.

The sequence of events leading to the arrest began with a notification from a license plate reader, which is part of the Buckeye Police Real-Time Intelligence Center, according to a 12 News report.
Following the location of the vehicle, officers arrested the male driver. Still unidentified, the man is accused of a carjacking incident in California that resulted in significant consequence, leaving a victim hospitalized, as per FOX 10 Phoenix.
