
A confrontation between a suspicious individual and deputies led to an arrest in northwest Harris County on Thursday. As reported by Click2Houston, the incident occurred in the 3700 block of FM 1960 West, when deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to a report of a suspicious person.
The man, identified as 56-year-old John Hunter, allegedly became aggressive and threatened to fight the deputies before hitting his head against a patrol vehicle. This altercation led to his detainment. While being transported to the Harris County Jail, Hunter reportedly issued a death threat toward a deputy.
Hunter has since been charged with terroristic threat on peace officer and retaliation. Details regarding his bond or court dates were not immediately available following the arrest. According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their facebook page, Constable Mark Herman said, "John Hunter was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Terroristic Threat on Peace Officer and Retaliation. At this time his bond and court information has not been set."
