An SUV lost control on an icy Pittsburgh road and slammed into a house yesterday afternoon, according to video footage captured by a Ring doorbell camera. The vehicle was seen careening down Parkwood Avenue, narrowly missing another sliding vehicle before it collided with a nearby residence, WPXI reported.
The impact left a significant hole in the house's facade and damaged a gas meter. In response, Columbia Gas promptly shut off the gas to the affected property, fortunately, without impacting service to other customers.
