
The White Settlement Community Services recently held a storybook character vote, and the results are now public. Taking the theme of literary companionship to the next level, community members were invited to cast their votes for their favored fictional character, drawing an enthusiastic local response. According to a social media post by the White Settlement Community Services, the iconic The Cat in the Hat has clinched the win with 35 votes.
The community’s love for the top-hatted, mischievous feline was clear, but it was a close contest. With her lovable chaos, Bad Kitty earned 21 votes, showing her enduring appeal. Other characters also shone, with 20 write-in votes featuring favorites like Snoopy, Pete the Cat, and Browser the Library Cat, a beloved local mascot.
The organizers commended the community's participation, thanking all who took the time to vote and engage with their library's endeavor to create a festive and literary atmosphere.
