Portland's fire department battled a significant blaze on Saturday morning after a cannabis warehouse caught fire in Northeast Portland. According to KPTV, Portland Fire & Rescue were alerted to the incident just after 9 a.m. and responded to heavy smoke emitting from Sirius Extracts, a cannabis facility located on Northeast Lombard Street.
The fire prompted Portland Fire & Rescue to issue a third alarm, summoning additional resources to the scene, reported by OregonLive. Firefighters were faced with a warehouse brimming with material and equipment, creating challenges for controlling and eventually extinguishing the heart of the blaze.
Initial concerns that there might have been individuals trapped inside were quickly dispelled as crews determined that all were accounted for.
