
Yesterday morning, a fire erupted in an apartment within the multi-story complex at 7400 Wade Park Ave in the University Circle neighborhood, resulting in three individuals hospitalized with smoke inhalation injuries, as reported by News 5 Cleveland. The Cleveland Fire Department quickly responded to the incident, with around 20 fire units and four EMS units dispatched.
The fire was successfully contained to a single apartment; however, the building sustained water damage across multiple floors. Fire department officials confirmed that EMS transported the three victims to University Hospitals, where they were listed in stable condition, as detailed by Cleveland19. No injuries to fire personnel occurred during the response.

A social media update posted by the fire division at 2:24 a.m. disclosed the extent of the damage and the crews' efforts in managing the fire's aftermath. "The cause of the fire is still under investigation," stated the Cleveland Division of Fire, and the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority has been informed of the event, according to a post shared by Cleveland19.
