In an unusual discovery during a routine traffic stop in the Cypress area, Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office stumbled upon a trifecta of illegalities. According to KHOU, the driver, whose identity has not yet been released, had an open felony warrant out for his arrest. Deputies, having conducted a search of the man's vehicle, discovered not only a loaded gun and illegal narcotics, but also found themselves in the company of three pythons.
While conducting the stop near Barker Cypress Road along the Northwest Freeway, deputies unexpectedly made the arrest on Friday. "It’sssssss definitely not your typical traffic stop!! Great work C4!" exclaimed the constable's office in a Facebook post covering the arresting officers. In a turn of events, the three snakes were handed over to animal control, placing the reptiles in new, presumably less mobile, quarters.
