
A tragic incident occurred on Monday evening near Highway 165 in Turlock, where a pedestrian lost her life after being struck by a vehicle. KCRA reports that the collision took place around 6:30 p.m. on Harding Road, just east of the highway. A woman was found in the roadway by emergency responders who arrived at the scene.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was struck by a pickup truck while walking on the road. The California Highway Patrol reported that the driver, who stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials, was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a related report by ABC10, authorities disclosed that the driver was a 69-year-old man who was driving eastbound on Harding Road at the time of the collision. After the crash, no injuries were reported for the driver, and the investigation is ongoing. Details remain limited.
