On Friday night, an incident in southwest Oklahoma City left two children injured when a truck collided with the golf cart they were riding in. Local authorities confirmed the crash occurred just before 9 p.m. near SW 25th Street and South Klein Avenue, where a truck struck the golf cart, which had five children on board, and, notably, the cart lacked lights, according to KFOR.
The specifics of the incident are still under investigation. According to KOCO, the Oklahoma City Police Department responded promptly to the scene.
News9 reported that officers at the scene mentioned that two children were taken to a hospital with injuries that were assessed to be non-life-threatening.
