A tragic twist unfolded in West Bethlehem Township, Washington County, where two individuals lost their lives in a vehicular accident along Clarksville Road. According to a report by CBS News Pittsburgh, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco confirmed a vehicle mishap that involved driver Brittany Crile, 36, and passenger Joseph Crile, 46. The calamity occurred between 4:15 p.m. last Saturday and 9:20 a.m. yesterday, with Brittany being ejected from the car as it careened down an embankment.
According to ongoing reports from WPXI, the incident was revealed when a passerby found the crash site yesterday morning and called emergency services. Joseph's body was later discovered in an empty house nearby, suggesting he may have survived the initial crash but later died from his injuries.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the crash. Clarksville Road, between Barr Run Road and Castile Ridge Road, was closed for several hours to assist first responders. Brittany, from Waynesburg, and Joseph, from Marianna, both lived locally, but their relationship has not been clarified in reports.
