In the early hours yesterday, a head-on collision in west Phoenix killed two people and injured two others. The crash occurred just before 2 a.m. near 73rd Avenue and Indian School Road. When Phoenix Police arrived, they found two vehicles involved in the accident.

According to FOX10 Phoenix, investigators found that a 28-year-old man driving a Chevrolet Camaro was heading east on Indian School Road when he tried to change lanes to pass another car. He oversteered, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided head-on with a Volkswagen Jetta. The two men in the Jetta, Erick Segura, 35, and Alonso Franco, 37, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Camaro was seriously injured and hospitalized after surgery. A 16-year-old boy in the Jetta also sustained a broken arm, which was not life-threatening, and was taken to the hospital, as per the abc15.
