This Christmas Eve in Vallejo, a man was fatally shot in the 200 block of Broadway Street. The Vallejo Police Department received a call just before 1 a.m. regarding the incident, as confirmed by an official statement.
According to the Vallejo Police Department, officers who arrived at the scene found an adult male with at least one gunshot wound. They attempted to render medical aid quickly, but despite these efforts and those of the arriving medical personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the male remains unreleased, pending family notification of the next of kin by the Solano County Sheriff's Coroner's Office. This incident marks the 24th homicide in Vallejo for the year 2024.
