For those looking to score some literary gems, the Friends of the Wren Memorial Library $5 Bag Book Sale opens its doors on January 17, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The sale will offer a wide selection of hardbacks, paperbacks, DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs, "All items are in good condition," according to Chatham County. There's no limit to the number of items shoppers can purchase.
Adults seeking a burst of creativity can look forward to the Adult Paint Night on January 24, starting at 3:30 p.m. Attendees will be given the opportunity to paint a seasonal landscape, with "All participants will be guided through the steps of painting their own," notes the Chatham County.
