According to a recent announcement by the center, the plates come with a standard cost of $15.50 plus any applicable fees—sans additional registration costs for those with current plates.
Funds raised from these plates are directed towards specific causes. The 100 Club plate, with its $40 annual contribution fee, supports charitable gifts and contributions, funneling funds to assist the organization's mission. Meanwhile, the Agriculture plate, carrying a $20 annual contribution fee, benefits the FFA and University of Minnesota Extension to uplift Minnesota 4-H—each purchase a small, yet concrete gesture towards the county’s agricultural and philanthropic endeavors.
While those with one-ton trucks or motorcycles will still need to face a wait due to special requirements, the license center can process their transactions at the service counter. Operating hours for the Wright County License Center remain Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and they've made sure to mention, they accept all forms of payment, ensuring convenience for all customers.
