According to NWS's detailed forecast, the high is expected to be near 53 degrees with a south wind blowing at 5 to 11 mph and gusts that could reach as high as 24 mph. The probability of precipitation stands at 100%, with new rainfall amounts ranging between a half and three-quarters of an inch.
As the evening progresses, the rain is predicted to continue, primarily halting before 10 pm with a linger of patchy fog before the night is fully set. Overnight temperatures are likely to dip to a low of around 41 degrees, with the southwest wind shifting to the west after midnight. The chance of additional precipitation is estimated at 80%, with rainfall predicted to add another tenth to a quarter of an inch.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday is expected to start cloudy, only to eventually clear up, boasting a high near 47 degrees with a brisk north wind at 10 to 14 mph, gusting up to 28 mph. The nighttime will bring partly cloudy skies and a low around 27 degrees, with calm northeast winds shifting to tranquil late in the evening.
By Sunday, the area is set to experience mostly cloudy skies with a high near 42 degrees. The light winds are forecasted to slightly pick up, becoming southeast at 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Going into Monday, the city can expect to see partly sunny skies with comfortable temperatures reaching a high near 61 degrees. The forecast for early next week includes mostly cloudy evenings with lows around 42 degrees, while Tuesday should bring mostly sunny conditions with highs near 53 degrees, dropping to a low around 36 at night.
As the workweek continues, Wednesday will see a return to less predictable weather, with a 30% chance of rain and mostly cloudy skies, highs approaching 51 degrees. The possibility of precipitation inches up to 40% for Wednesday night, with lows around 44 degrees. The pattern looks to persist into Thursday, with a slightly higher chance of rain at 50% and warmer conditions as temperatures are expected to climb to near 65 degrees.
