An urgent AMBER Alert has been issued for 15-month-old Matheo Vasquez, who vanished from the Houston area, prompting authorities to seek the public's assistance. According to Click2Houston, Matheo was last seen in the 15000 block of Green Stone in Houston. Wearing a black sweater and black pants at the time of his disappearance, the toddler is described as a Hispanic boy, with brown hair, brown eyes, and weighing approximately 25 pounds.
Authorities believe that Matheo is with Jason Irwin Vasquez, a 25-year-old male who may be driving a 2016 dark gray GMC Sierra 4-door pickup truck, bearing the Texas license plate JZY5720. Matheo, described as being 2 feet tall and 20 pounds, went missing around 5:20 p.m. Saturday as reported by FOX26 Houston, though the relationship between him and Jason Vasquez remains unclear.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of Matheo or Jason to come forward. The public can provide tips by calling 713-755-7427 or dialing 911.
