
Last night, a disturbance in Annapolis led to gunfire and the subsequent arrest of three individuals from Washington, DC. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, officers were called to the 1900 block of Towne Center Boulevard after reports of gunshots around 10:15 p.m. Witnesses reported observing a white sedan fleeing the scene, from which three female suspects were reportedly seen disembarking during an altercation before shots being fired.
Determined to halt the suspect vehicle, a white Mercedes, officers managed to detain the three occupants on Towne Center Boulevard. While investigating the scene, officers found spent .38 caliber shell casings. Searching the vehicle produced a .38 caliber Ruger handgun, loaded with a chambered round and three additional live rounds in its six-round capacity magazine.
The investigation led to the identification and subsequent arrest of the individual suspected of the shooting, along with charges for the two other occupants for their roles in the incident. The arrested individuals have been named Darshica Delores Allen, aged 43, Lamiyah Angel Allen, aged 21, and Brittany Mae Richardson, aged 36, all from Washington, DC.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in connection with the shooting.
