As a part of the contingency measures, all Arlington Library locations will remain open for warming during their standard operating hours. The George W. Hawkes Downtown Library, at 100 S. Center St., is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Other branches at New York Ave., Green Oaks Blvd., Brown Blvd., and other specified locations maintain hours from Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (applicable only to East Library and Recreation Center).

Arlington Animal Services Shelter offers shelter for homeless individuals with pets at 1000 SE Green Oaks Blvd as capacity permits. Those in need can call 817-459-5898 for assistance.
