The skies are expected to remain mostly cloudy tonight, with a low around 52 and southeast winds at 5 to 10 mph, gusting as high as 20 mph. Friday's weather could truly disrupt outdoor plans, as showers are set to completely blanket the city. The high is predicted to be near 65, with the south wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon, and gusts may intensify to get as high as 25 mph.
Those looking forward to the weekend however, can expect a break from the rain. The outlook for Saturday is much brighter, with the National Weather Service predicting sunny skies and a high again near 65, paired with a light north wind. The pleasant conditions are set to persist into Sunday, with a forecast of more sunshine and a high inching up to around 67, ensuring a more agreeable backdrop for any outdoor ventures.
Continuing into the next week, Atlanta residents can anticipate to carry forward the sunlit theme, with another sunny day and a high near 73 on Monday. However, by Wednesday, there’s a slight chance that showers might return, with a 20 percent chance of rain and partially sunny conditions yielding a high near 68. With a series of mostly clear nights, with lows hovering in the low to mid-40s, and days that gradually warm as the week progresses, the early February weather in Atlanta seems to be a mixed bag, fluctuating between showers and sunlit skies.
