A motorcyclist was left in critical but stable condition Friday afternoon after a Ford F-150 attempting a left turn collided with his Suzuki motorcycle at the intersection of Jeffersonville and Donnan roads in East Macon. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. when the eastbound truck, which had stopped to yield to oncoming traffic, turned left onto Donnan Road directly into the path of the westbound motorcycle. No other injuries were reported.
According to 13WMAZ, the F-150 driver had yielded to oncoming traffic before attempting the turn when the motorcycle struck the truck. Emergency responders rushed the rider to a nearby hospital, where he remained in critical but stable condition, the station reported.
