Caught in a narrow window of time between 12:30 p.m. and 12:45 p.m., the trailer was seen being towed away by an early 2000s model Ford F-150, painted a two-toned dark green metallic with gold or tan.
In their quest to apprehend the individuals responsible, Austin police have turned to the community for assistance. A description provided by the police singled out the suspect's vehicle as an older, dark green metallic Ford F-150 with tan or gold hues. The food truck trailer, a known purveyor of barbecued delicacies, was unassumingly hitched and stolen away in broad daylight. CBS Austin shared photos of the stolen trailer in an attempt to aid the public in identifying it.
