The Washington State Patrol is seeking information regarding a road rage incident that escalated into a shooting on Thursday last week on Interstate 405 in Bellevue, Washington. According to KOMO News, a driver of a black Chevrolet Corvette fired at another vehicle, striking the hood of the victim's car. Fortunately, the victim was not injured.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. when the victim attempted to pass the Corvette on the right-hand side on northbound I-405 near NE 8th Street. The Corvette driver reportedly engaged in aggressive driving, including accelerating to block the victim and brake checking, as FOX 13 reported.
The Washington State Patrol is asking for witnesses to come forward. Detective Robert Goodin is the primary contact for information and can be reached at [email protected]. Although a photo of a similar vehicle has been released, it does not belong to the suspect, as noted on a KIRO 7 report. The investigation is ongoing.
