Baltimore is once again the setting for a shooting investigation, with a 32-year-old male victim presently under medical treatment for injuries. According to a media advisory released by the Baltimore Police Department, the incident occurred last night.
After receiving a report of a walk-in shooting victim, patrol officers were dispatched to an area hospital at around 11:30 p.m., where they found the injured individual. The victim's identity has not been released, but he is suffering from an apparent gunshot wound that detectives learned happened on the 2700 block of Brendan Avenue.
As the investigation into the shooting unfolds, Eastern District detectives are turning to the public for assistance. They urge anyone with information relevant to the incident to come forward and provide what they know.
