Battle Creek Police Department officers responded to a call around 1 p.m. in the 100 block of Greentree Lane where an 18-year-old woman reported an online argument had escalated into a physical fight, according to FOX 17 Online. The dispute, initially confined to the digital realm, rapidly devolved when the other party, a 19-year-old woman, appeared at the victim's residence with three companions and allegedly used a pistol to strike individuals during the confrontation.
The battle soon spilled from the complex's hallway into the apartment before the suspects fled in a vehicle. Police were able to quickly locate and detain two people inside the car in the Post Addition neighborhood, with FOX 17 Online detailing that the authorities watched video footage showcasing the 19-year-old suspect hitting people with the firearm.
